About LIBEA
Long Island Black Educators Association (LIBEA) is a leading social service, not-for-profit agency that helped more than 72,000 people last year. LIBEA provides a broad array of educational, vocational, counseling and criminal justice services.
The organization’s 70 programs protect children, create opportunities for seniors, promote healthy families and communities, empower people through employment and education, and provide alternatives to incarceration for people with substance abuse and mental health needs.
